| Music is my life. Nuff said. I'm a radio grad who specialized in audio and music production. It's a tough industry; I'm still looking for that full-time dream job--who knows if it'll ever come! I've been so fortunate in my experiences thus far. For almost two years I interned at Whirlwind Sound with Brian Moncarz (Pilate, The Junction, The Stickup, Scenario). He's an amazing producer with a passion for music greater than anyone I know. After Whirlwind, I landed an internship with CHUM Radio in the production department and met some amazing people there. And then at Corus Radio, producing an Indie Band feature for an online radio stream called boomboxbaby.ca. I've also done some freelance publicity for indie bands--In Its Wake in particular (www.myspace.com/initswake). My latest venture: I'm co-owner and Director of Operations for HomeWreckords Entertainment, an indie music promotions company. I'd like to meet:I've already met Slash and Scott Weiland...Wicked good times.I'd really want to meet Elvis and John Lennon if I could. They are huge inspirations and have had massive influences on my life, The King especially. And Bono. Blue Rodeo and Counting Crows as well...oh my how the list grows... I'd also really love to sit down and have a chat with Daniel Lanois (he's one of my production idols). All in all, if you're a wicked songwriter or producer, I want to meet you. If you're world-reknown, I want to meet you even more. |
