Launched: Febraury 29th 2004
With a million and one webzines currently floating around the rock and metal communities worldwide, we thought it was the perfect time time to add another one! Why? Because there's always room to do something better than the other guys. Quite frankly, we were sick of reading the same reviews of the same albums, by the same people, on different websites. We were sick of reading reviews that went out of their way to impress you with background information on the band, but failed to say wether the album was actually any good. ...We were sick of only reading CD reviews. Sinister .. is a webzine with a lifestyle focus, aimed squarely at the fans of all forms of Rock and Metal. We want to give you guys something more to read, across all aspects of entertainment, music creation, music news, and equipment, while also re-working the basics of reviews, interviews, photo shoots, giveaways, downloads and community driven forum. We want to help local bands get exposure, not only by reviewing their releases and live shows, but by featuring and sampling un-signed bands' demo CD's straight from the website. We'll be updating this site weekly, so be sure to visit us regularly and be a part of the re-evolution! Sinister Store Launched: May 2004 We were sick of something else too...
