Music:r&b, hip-hop, some pop, reggae, jazz, soul, blues...but I would have to say my absolute all-time favorites would have to be STEVIE WONDER, and old skool FUNK...Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang, The Gap Band...just to name a few...and Lionel Richie's love songs... I'm very diverse (with the exception of country and heavy metal/hard rock...no likey those), good music is good music, no matter the style, the category, the genre...it's all a matter of taste...and SOUL... a few other favorites...Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, just about anything Motown, Bob Marley & offspring, Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborne, The Fugees, Brian McKnight, Alicia Keys, John Legend, R. Movies:one of my favorite things to do is curl up on the couch and watch a good movie...if it makes me laugh, if it makes me cry, if it keeps me on the edge of my seat or scares the shit out of me...it's all good. |

Books:what are those? (lol) poetry, romance novels, suspense novels... however, I can't remember the last time I actually read a whole book...is that sad? blame it on music, movies, cable tv, and the internet. I do have a massive collection of books...which reminds me...I need to dust. I love and collect children's books...my all-time favorite is Shel Silverstein's 'The Giving Tree'... I love books on design (interior, fashion, graphic)...I can't sew but I love putting different pieces and/or fabrics together, art, graphics, vintage pieces, etc...visual style and stimulation... MORE BODY, MORE SOUL: Beautiful Black Men does that count???...lol |
