ENGLISH A dirty southern Italy town, trash television all day long, Rednecks and a lot of boredom. Bottle up, shake it all and get ready to the explosion! We are just another bunch of fuckin' snots fighting against the daily routines of our lives with the only weapons we know: Rock'n'Roll, fast beats and loud guitars! Get wiser! Join the ride! ITALIANO Quando ci si ritrova con una birra in mano a parlare di Rock'n'Roll con altri tossici-cazzoni, spunta sempre il “fenomeno intellettualoide” che ad un certo punto, con malcelata saccenteria, tenta di elevarsi da quella cloaca di luoghi comuni e stereotipi che riempiono le discussioni e fanno viaggiare gli immaginari collettivi chiedendo: “Qual è il tuo background?”. Superato con non poca difficoltà il fastidio provocato da questa orribile espressione, i più (nella vana speranza di suscitare un immotivato interesse da parte dell’ascoltatore) cercano di farsi venire una risposta figa e soprattutto spiazzante. Abbiamo sentito geni del camaleontismo dichiarare con una punta d’orgoglio d’essere partiti poco più che ragazzini dal Post Punk Serbocroato fino ad arrivare all’ Art'n'Roll Cileno passando, nel periodo tardo-adolescenziale, per l’Avant-Core giapponese. I The Wisers nascono nel novembre del 2007 dall’incontro di 3 immorali individui: Andre, Micio e Step, con il tanto banale quanto sempre semplice e genuino intento di fare musica. Le fortemente opinabili influenze musicali del trio li portano a capire in poco tempo che la loro insulsa attitudine è solo una: punk nella mente, Rock'n'Roll nel cuore. Fin dalle primissime prove, dopo essersi gloriosamente auto-proclamato "Punk'n'Roll Band", il combo ha la disgraziata idea di comporre canzoni proprie dall’originalità ed orecchiabilità praticamente nulle, effetto dovuto senz’altro alle carenti capacità tecniche che vengono assiduamente messe in risalto durante le grottesche performance che, a detta di quei pochi “eroi” a seguito, potrebbero essere definite, per usare un pallido eufemismo, “di dubbio valore”. Il gruppo è attualmente impegnato in un lungo e interminabile tour che toccherà tutte le maggiori case di riposo per anziani in Europa.
