Magic Grounddie band wurde im oktober 2005 gegründet und hatte den ersten öffentlichen auftritt schon einen monat später auf einer privatfete.zunächst wurden songs wie "lady in black, hey joe, as tears go bye, knockin' on heavens door…" gecovert. die band wollte aber bald keine bekannten songs nachspielen, sondern eigene sachen schreiben. inzwischen ist die playlist auf etwa 20 songs angewachsen. im vordergrund stehen nach wie vor melodische rockmusik und spaß an eigenen songs, besonders die übungsstunden mit ausgedehnten jam-sessions sind ein unerschöpflicher pool an musikalischen eingebungen und basis für neue songs. die bandmitglieder: kyky - einer der musikalisch erfahrenen, zeichnet sich aus durch sphärische klangteppiche am keyboard und gesang. unsere taste schreibt die meisten texte. stixx - unser trommelheino startete mit einem digiroland und sorgt jetzt als unser mapex-mann dafür, dass die band nicht den takt verliert. auf-du-und-du mit "helmut k." leadl - startete im november 2004 als methusalem mit dem erlernen der e-gitarre und erfüllte sich damit einen jugendtraum, nachdem einige seiner idole das zeitliche gesegnet haben und er in den aktuellen pop-charts nicht unbedingt seine lieblingsmusik wiederfindet. Big Mac - unser neuestes bandmitglied. spielt den bass und ist schon verzaubert von den sessions. Magic Groundthe band was founded in 2005 and our first official gig was realized only one month later on a private party.In the beginning we only covered songs like "lady in black, hey Joe, as tears go bye, knockin..on heavens door…" but after a while we decided to play our own material and to write own songs. For the time being we created more than 20 new songs. Our priority is still to have fun together and to play melodic rock style. We enjoy our Jam Sessions once a week to find out new stuff to perform later on. THE BAND: kyky - Keyboard, vocals, composer and with the most experience in music. stixx - Drums, he started with a Roland V-Drum and find out that acoustic Drums are the best to perform. He plays Mapex Drums nowadays. leadl - E-Guitar, started playing in November 2004 as methusalem the great. A dream which has become real for him. Big Mac - newest member of the band. plays the bass and is spellbound by the magic. |
