I feel that because we are not attentive and assertive, we tend to not respond at 1st sight of a potential threat. We have people allowing child molesters, serial killers, rapists. To walk the streets. Because we as a people have given up power to the govt. we have said here govt take my rights liberty and freedom, just make me feel safe. When really it does not work, and further if u read the constitution its states that man get his power from god, man then gives power to the govt, not the gov gives us power. We are literally on the front line. we are the victims when a crazy person attacks we are the tax payers who pay for the work to be done to fund educate train etc. this whole country for most part are last to be informed considered or taken care of and the poorer u are the lower u are on that totem pole, I believe we are in dark times , I believe with rights comes responsibility, and it is up to us not the govt to take this country in the direction that will promise not only our future but our kids as well.
