| .... BIO Samuel Ferrari, inizia a muoversi nel mondo della musica formando svariate band e alternando a queste l’attività di sessionman. Samuel proviene dal basso (elettrico!). Ha avuto l'opportunità di studiare con: Faso (Elio e le storie tese), Paolo Costa (C.Baglioni, F.Battiato) e Bruce Gertz (Bill Frisell, Mike Goodrick). Più di 300 concerti all'attivo, tra cui la partecipazione ad Umbria Jazz con Bobbie McFerryn nel 1997 e la Finalissima di Sanremo Giovani nel 2006. Nel 2007 esce, in un EP con 3 versioni rmx, il singolo YouTube School (LR Records) prodotto e registrato a Londra da J. Howes sul tema del cyberbullismo. Di “YouTube School (Studente Impertinente)”, che ha venduto oltre 2500 copie arrivando al nr.1 della Top 100 Music Site Italia e ottenuto la Homepage su Itunes , dell'ironico video (regia L.Fontana) che ha avuto oltre 80mila visualizzazioni in 2 sole settimane, la Homepage di Youtube Italia per tutto il Dicembre 2007 e un spazio su media tradizionali (IL GIORNALE, IL CORRIERE DELLA SERA, RADIO2)” . Nell'estate 2008 vola a Los Angeles dove scrive e registra nuovi brani al mitico Village Recorder Studio di Santa Monica Avenue e conosce Axl Rose!! Attualmente sta lavorando al nuovo album con la produzione di Niccolò Fragile che dovrebbe uscire nell'autunno 09 per la Eletctic Twin Records...stay tuned!!! S.F, sostiene diverse associazioni ambientaliste e animaliste (Green Peace, LAV Lega Antivivisezione), ama il cinema ed è nato in Valle d’Aosta. Vive tra Milano e Roma, il posto preferito e' Trevignano Romano!!. La sua bevanda è il latte di mandorla:-) “NO BASS NO FUN!!!” SAMUEL FERRARI's PROFILE Singer, musician & songwriter, his activity is based between London, Rome & Milan. The first single called “YouTube School (Lazy Student)” was recorded in London at The Premises Studios (Blur, Anastacia...) in June 2007. Samuel Ferrari's project is also focused on developing & promoting original pop rock tracks. SF has a solid background as bass guitar player. He studied bass with Italian top bass players. In 1997 he gained the participation to “Berklee Summer School @ Umbria Jazz” in the Bruce Gertz classroom (B.Frisell, M.Goodrick). In 1999-2000 he attended B.Sheean & M.Miller master clinics. Samuel Ferrari live activity counts more over 300 gigs perfomance & in 1997, with Bobbie McFerryn @Umbria jazz and in 2006 at Sanremo Festival. SF is a Green Peace & No Animal Vivisection supporter.
