So, you want to know about the girl, huh? Honestly, to sum me up is a task deemed impossible. An unequal, yet proportional ball full of complete charm, sass, sarcastic tendencies, passion, charisma, intelligence, and a bit of bitterness held against this world that I was born to lose in, but nevertheless .. an innate stubbornness that I live to win from. People tell me that there is a certain "something" about me that seems to automatically draw them in. I'm not quite sure what that means, but I think it has to do with the fact that I carry myself with confidence. Not conceit, by any means .. but belief in myself and what I have to offer this world. Dynamic and unique .. not too mention undeniably adorable! I'm a total sweetie that is as equally tenatious and incredibly strong willed. Forever versatile .. Astoundingly resiliant. I pride myself on being a well-rounded and multi-faceted individual. I most definitely do not fit any one label society has created. I have many "good girl" qualities and many "bad girl" qualities too! You could say I'm a little bit of a walking contradiction. I am provocatively wild, yet elegantly refined. I enjoy keeping up on current events .. but I also enjoy keeping up on pop culture too. I'm a news junkie but on commercials you'll find me tuning in to show's like Jackass and Miami Ink .. I love reading the LA Times but you'll also see me sporting the current issue of Gothic Beauty or Tattoo Flash. My daughter is my world and while I can often be found at PTA meetings or volunteering in her classroom .. you'll also find me bungee jumping, snowboarding or doing something else as equally adrenalizing. I'm edgy, unique, beautifully feminine and NOT afraid to embrace all that I am. As the old saying goes .. I'd rather be hated for what I am .. than loved for what I am not. I believe strongly in love and I'm a hopeless romantic. I'm affectionate and very, very passionate about everything I do. I love spontaneity but I try to always balance that with responsibility. I vote. I'm a devout Democrat. If you try to push your conservative or small-minded, puratist views on me .. you'll see just how sexy my back side is as I'm walking away. Where religious matters are concerned, I do not bind myself to any singular organization .. Alternatively, I have studied many of the world's religions and have drawn my own, educated conclusions. I believe in The Grand Design, A Higher Power representative of both sexes, Angels and Evolution. I believe that life is a never ending learning process and I definitely believe in Karma. What else? Oh .. I'm very polite. I always say thank you. I'm the type to smile and say hello to strangers .. completely unprovoked! I LOVE to laugh & be silly! I don't judge people based on their income or social standing. I never litter. I don't wear fur. I recycle like crazy! I'm pierced, tattooed and proud! I value close friends and family above ALL else. I have zero tolerance for flakes, fakes or stuck up individuals. You won't get far with me if you're an asshole either! I'm always down for new experiences and I'll try damn near anything once .. I love extreme sports and loud music! Road trips and camping. I can be a bit of a beach bum in the summer and a mountain junkie in the winter. I have a wildly independent spirit and a very open mind. I do not blindly believe everything the media or the "Bush Administration" tell me. I question and research EVERYTHING. I enjoy documentaries almost as much as I enjoy mainstream blockbuster movies. I'm very nostalgic and reminiscent of times gone by. The big hair of the 80's, Classic rock from the 70's .. Flannel shirts of the 90's .. You get the idea .. I'm also fascinated by different era's in American Culture that I was never actually a part of .. The 20's & 30's .. The 50's & 60's .. The 1800's .. I have found myself to be as equally intrigued by the past and present of far away lands ... Ireland, Wales, Finland, Germany, Japan .. just to name a few. Well .. there you have it .. Me in a tiny little nutshell .. Or at least as best as I can fit into a nutshell .. because believe me, this is just scratching the surface :D |
