Diplomato al MUSICIANS INSTITUTE di Los Angeles. In California il ventenne chitarrista ha modo di studiare chitarra rock con Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, Jennifer Batten, Bruce Bouillet, T.J. Helmerich, Greg Howe fra gli altri. Studia composizione jazz con Scott Henderson e analisi con Carl Schroeder. Lettura con David Oakes.Per quanto riguarda la chitarra jazz-fusion studia e suona con: Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Mike Miller, Joe Diorio, Don Mock, Ron Eschete, Norman Brown, Wayne Johnson, Carl Verheyen. Nel settembre 1990 Giacomo consegue il “Certificate of completion”, diploma ufficiale del MUSICIANS INSTITUTE di Hollywood sezione GUITAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.Studia arrangiamento e composizione con il M° Bruno Tommaso ed approfondisce chitarra jazz con Dario la Penna alla ST. LOUIS. Collabora per live, studio, radio e televisioni con tanti artisti tra i quali Amii Stewart, Federico Salvatore, Rita Forte, Nuove Tribù Zulu, Andrea Ra, David Colaiacomo, Karl Potter, Cenere, Daniele Vit, Enrico Capuano, Ostinato, Kim ed altri ancora.E’ autore del video didattico “ SUONARE NELLO STILE DI…PAT METHENY” pubblicato da PLAYGAME distribuito dalla CARISCH
