| Formed and based in Central New Jersey by Guitarists Frank and Joe Adamo, along with Drummer Collin Bianchi....Legion is a band determined on creating hard driving, powerful and melodic music by drawing heavy influence from 70's and early 80's Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.....In early 2001 with Vocalist Mike Bunk on board, the band set off to create their debut album "Shadow of the King"....In the summer of 2004 Legion printed a four song demo as a sampler. Inspired by the many favorable reviews of the demo, the band finished recording and mixing the album in early 2005. June 15, 2005 saw the official self-release of "Shadow of the King".....With rave reviews both overseas and abroad, Legion was offered a spot on the German "Heavy" Magazine's Metal Crusade XI CD sampler (with the track "Medicine Man" being the band's contribution)....In late 2005 Majestic Rock Records contacted the band with plans to Re-Release and Re-Master "Shadow of the King". The band accepted the offer and the deal was completed in January 2006. 2006 and 2007 saw the band primarily focused on the follow-up to "Shadow of the King" while receiving both local and world-wide radio airplay, as well as more stellar reviews and interviews (including being selected for Tony Iommi's "Black Sunday Radio Show Series 2") In early 2008 Legion welcomed the arrival of Chandler Mogel as new vocalist. Thus beginning a new chapter in the band's history and continuing the high standard of classy, powerful and melodic heavy metal that has always been the Legion trademark. The band is currently seeking a new Record label, Management and Representation, as well as finishing writing, recording and mixing material for their new album....with plans set in place for a 2008 Release.
