Myspace Layout Generator by TheMyspaceLayout.com I grew up along the Mississipp River in Moline, Il until the age of eight. Moving to Phoenix, Az opened up a whole new world for me. It was then I began taking art seriously. I write anything and everything that is close to me. Poetry and songs are my favorite kind to write, but I also enjoy an occasional short story or childrens' book. In 1994, poetry became my biggest way of expression. I admit, it's chaotic, but that's life. From that moment I have have not stopped. 5 years later I decided to begin developing songwriting skills. As well, felt I should think about constructing my voice. Growing up as a singer I was introverted and only sang when I was alone. Playing the violin kept my interest in pursuing music. However, the time I spent with it made it apparent this was not the direction I would go in the industry. I sang in front of a crowd for the first time in March, 2007 at Joe's Grotto. I had bronchitis and was so tired I had no desire to go up there other than the fact that I had scheduled it. I got through it, painstakingly enough (for the crowd that is-LOL), but I am SO happy I did it now. Another mission of endearment is photography. I walk around constantly seeing the everyday in which I love to capture the beauty of. All forms of life and that which runs it. I think the biggest impact in my life was the actual impact from falling out of a third story building when I was the age of three. There is nothing more that could've changed my perceptions than that...not over a period of a lifetime anyways. I thank God I am functional person in this world. Life for me will always turn out good to me because, of this one experience. People have survived more than that physically and still come out, however different, a working progress in the need of this world. Our physical pain is uncontrolled, but if we can survive the uncontrolled we can survive ANYTHING!
