About Me |
|
| A Band Called L.I.F.E was formed in the spring of 1993 in Knoxville, TN as an answer to a growing problem amongst hip-hop shows. Namely, they really sucked ass to watch live. So a few guys got together in the basement of Todd Smith's (aka T. Money) house, and formed what was at the time, the greatest live hip-hop show on Earth.
Several of the band members came and left throughout the band's existence. Today most of the members have formed their own bands/solo acts or returned to previous bands they've been in. As most of you already know, the band parted ways in 2000. We played a reunion show in December 2004 to a packed house at Patrick Sullivan's in the Old City. It was a memorable evening and the crowd literally broke through the floor. Thanks for not making us pay for that, Sean. This myspace page is a tribute to the great music that we all enjoyed listening to, and enjoyed even more making and playing. Thanks to everyone that likes this stuff, ~All the boys from L.I.F.E |
