About Zindagi.... I have been a singer and songwriter for the past 10 years and I have always been involved in a number of collaborations with other musicians from all parts of the world. It could also be called a musical journey around the planet and that is really the core of all things. Living in a world that is getting smaller each day and where ppl and cultures are mixing, also music should represent this development and leave behind country borders and all other sorts of limitations. There is already quite a lot of music available that realises exactly that, but I personally believe that not all potential was used yet. Take Indian music: Hardly anybody in Germany knows that Indian music is so much more than only Bollywood. My focus is now to not only make European ears familiar to Indian sounds, but also use other sounds and elements that work well with the intention of the songs, be it an African drum or a South American flute. A musical journey - music means life and life means zindagi! Zindagi is therefore not just a word in Hindi, but zindagi is everything - everything that can be found around us on this planet.
