Born in a southside honkytonk 2 December 1955 under the Lone Star, the Archer, and a loving God with a spankin' good sense of humor... :) Unlikely survivor of Highlands High ('69-'73), U.T. Austin ('73-'75), and Southwest Texas State ('88-'90)... seems like there were some awshits and some attaboys, some blessings and some curses (but who knows which is which?), maybe even some slabs & woodpiles, lakes & rivers, moons & mountains, oceans & oilpatches, deserts, dogs, & guitars along the trail... Hmmm... Mr. DD214 says I was property of the U.S. Cavalry (19D30) from '80 through '88--Scouts Out! These days I'm herdin' apostrophes under the a/c, surrounded by wickedly bright and lovely young women all the livelong day... nights I play with all my black and crusty little heart and soul wherever there's a stage, a porch, a circle, a river, a fire...
