My illustrious goddess said it well "if you took rock n roll, broke it down to its purest element, without all the glitz and glam, you'll get the soul scratching, heart pounding , no nonsense music of Lipstick Magazine .." These guys aren't about the pretense associated with most hair bands. This band is back to the basics "rock n roll"! With Toni's sultry soulful lyrics and Damon and Nat's phenomenal guitar playing ability topped off with the tantalizing keyboards of David Loyas. This band is what good music is all about. Each song brings a Lil something different out of them. Some songs are more relatable than other's like "Skin Deep" while others like "All I Want" takes you back to when ballads ruled the airwaves! I think this band is going to be one of the pleasant surprises at this year's Rocklahoma Festival! Just listen for yourself! Lipstick Magazine's new cd titled "Skin Deep" will be officially released by Nightmare Records / Koch Entertainment on August 5th 2008 in the US. Vigilante Music who is handling the entire European release will officially release "Skin Deep" on September 1st, 2008. Skateboard Management will officially start a 250 radio station campaign for "Skin Deep" around the US on July 7th. Lipstick Magazine has been working hard in the US, as main support for the likes of Winger, DangerDanger, Jani Lane, Doro, UFO, Yes, Kix, and Bret Michaels and are about to embark on more live appearances, including Rocklahoma 2008, and Headlining at Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA for a VIP after party for Bret Michaels. Lipstick Magazine has been featured on the front cover of All Access Magazine, and has articles in magazines and online sites such as Maximum Metal, Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles, Heavy Metal Time Machine, Billboard.com and Rock Eyez. Lipstick Magazine has the ammunition for several rounds to come.
