Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Blood HEADGUARD was formed in 2003 in Turku, Finland by then bassist/vocalist Mikko Reinikainen and drum maister Mikko Aspegrén. At the beginning the style was slightly more rock but when Reinikainen switched to guitar from bass the style got more heavier and more riff-oriented. The biggest problem from the start was to find the right guitar player which proved to be pretty much impossible. So in 2006 Reinikainen decided to take the guitar duties over. At the moment the band is looking for a bass player.In the summer of 2007 the band recorded their first demo, BONES OF GOD. Drums were recorded in a day and the rest took about 3 days. All the recordings were made in the band’s rehearsal space by the band themselves. It was later mixed and mastered by Reinikainen.In the future the band is ready for some gigging when the right person is found to play the bass.
