| New Smooth JAZZ CD Coming soon.... Stay Tuned.. The cd is being mixed and then needs to be mastered. It will be SMOOTH and HOT!!!! Bio: At age ten I started playing the Clarinet. My influences at that time were Benny Goodman, Pete Fountain, dixieland jazz and big band sounds from the 1940's. In High School I started playing the saxophone. I eventually then played in the Schaumburg High School jazz band. I went on to college and obtained an engineering degree from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. While at Bradley, I continued to play the clarinet in the wind ensemble and saxophone in the jazz band. After I graduated from Bradley, I played in various groups and did recordings around in the Chicago Area. Styles included, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Pop, Heavy Metal, and Classical. Beginning in 1984 I became a part of Willow Creek Community Church and started playing in the orchestra and studio band. I served there for ten years before moving to Kansas City, Mo. I am married with three children. Henry, Eleanor, and Samuel. I have a passion for ministering and performing live concerts. I love to play with different musicians and play different styles of music. I play alto/tenor/soprano/baritone saxophones and flutes. I minister to churches, coffee houses, outdoor festivals, nursing homes and have done a few radio/TV shows. I have performed at Art Museums, Martin Luther King Celebrations, and private parties. I was featured in the October 2007 issue of CCM Magazine. In April of 2005 , I received an award for Instrumental Of The Year at the Kansas City Christian Music Awards. I display high energy with much enthusiasm and love to engage the audience into my ministry during a performance. Musically, I play a wide range of styles that minister to all age groups. I love to let the Holy Spirit take control while I play. I have one CD out entitled "Soar" and currently working on a second CD project that will be all original smooth Jazz... If anyone needs some sax on your current or next recording, I am available. I assure you I can make it sound Oh So Sweet!!!.
