| I'm Tyler,Chief Operating Officer of Best Of Bands, LLC. I've been in the music business for a LONG time. I was on the corporate end, working in finance for one of the 'Big Five'. Seeing talented musicians and artists struggle to keep contracts, fight for every nickel and compromise their passion and creativity to satisfy label requirements was heartbreaking. With the rapid changes in the music industry, artists have the opportunity to get their music out there and be heard like never before, as the labels struggle to keep up. Unsigned acts have the ability to build a nationwide fan base, sell their music and tour in markets that would not have been possible without the freedom and wide reach of the internet! The artist can take charge of their own development and their own profits! Artists that don't fit the 'mainstrain' corporate profitability model now stand a fighting chance by promoting themselves within their own special niche....and the fans are there!
