| (English version please scroll down) .................Der Singer/Songwriter Andy Trinkler (geb. 1965 in Bern) lädt dich ein auf eine musikalische Reise.
Er hat sich dem amerikanischen Folkrock verschrieben, geht aber seit vielen Jahren seinen eigenen musikalischen Weg.
Fernwehblues, Lagerfeuerromantik und staubigen Landstrassenrock verbindet er auf eine überaus melodiöse Weise, ohne an Eigenständigkeit einzubüssen oder an gängige Klischees anzubiedern.
Andy Trinkler ist vor 20 Jahren nicht ausgezogen, "um die Musikwelt zu erobern", viel mehr blieb er sich und seiner Musik in dieser Zeit treu. Dass seine Kompositionen tatsächlich das gewisse Etwas haben, zeigt sich auch auf den Konzertbühnen. Da werden aus scheinbar unauffälligen Songs musikalische Kleinode, spannend und stimmig vorgetragen und manchmal mit spitzzüngigen Bemerkungen gewürzt... .....
Live zu sehen ist Andy Trinkler zur Zeit Solo, "unplugged", aber in naher Zukunft auch wieder mit seiner Band BORDER AFFAIR.
Zudem wirkt er seit 2004 als Gitarrist und Sänger bei BLACKCURRANT CANDY mit, einer Akustikformation, die mit ruhigem Folk/Pop aufwartet.

...... ......... .......... ........Andy Trinkler singer/songwriter from Bern/Switzerland would like to take you on a musical journey. His music could be described as American folk rock but it’s entirely his own and he has created and stuck to his own inimitable style over many years. Wanderlust-blues, camp fire feeling and dusty highway-rock are melodically combined without loosing their individual charms or chumming up to old clichés. Andy Trinkler did not set out 20 years ago „to conquer the music world“ and he’s stayed faithful to himself and his music to this day. That his compositions truly do have that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ is apparent at his concerts too. Seemingly unobtrusive songs turn into musical gems, enthralling and well performed, at times spiced up with sharp tongued remarks…
...... Andy Trinkler is touring right now, the gigs being solo and “unplugged”, but he will soon also be back on stage with his band BORDER AFFAIR. Since 2004 he has also been working with BLACKCURRANT CANDY an acoustic band playing smooth folk/pop where he plays guitar and sings.
