Gosh all the time I've spent playing in those dodgy pubs in New Town, Sydney, have paid off. Playing in a kind of upmarket place like the Artica Bar on Third Ave was a breeze compaired to playing in places like the Sando and Sly Fox in Sydney. | |

Top of the list John Lennon, George Harrison, The Beatles in general,David Bowie, Roy Orbison,Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong, Crissy Hynde and The Pretenders, The Drifters and The Platters, Elvis, The Kinks,The RollingStones, Eric Clapton,The Band, Led Zeppelin, Bob of course, oh there's so many influences I'll add more as I go along. Amy Winehouse, she's great,Edith Piaf a street singer - she's great too. Sounds Like: I am much more comfortable singing low like the blokes but I am making efforts to get up high with the girls, takes more vocal strength to get up high. So it's all developing.
