ONLY KNEE HIGH AND LESS THEN 20 POUNDS SHE DIED A HORRIBLE, USELESS, SENSELESS DEATH. IN ADDITION MY 4 YEAR OLD GRANDSON WAS ALSO PRESENT, LUCKILY PHYSICALLY UNHARMED. IN OUR STATE THE MAX SENTENCE HE CAN GET IS 1ST DEGREE CHILD ABUSE RESULTING IN DEATH, WHICH HOLDS A THIRTY YEAR SENTENCE. THE BOY IS EIGHTEEN. TO ME IF YOU CAN KILL A DEFENSELESS CHILD YOU CAN KILL ANYONE. ON THE OTHER HAND IF YOU KILL AN ARMED GROWN POLICE OFFICER YOU CAN GET THE DEATH PENALTY...WE ALL DESERVE PROTECTION, BUT WHY CANT THE KILLER OF THIS DEFENSELESS BABY GET THE SAME SENTENCE AS ONE WHO KILLS THE ARMED POLICE OFFICER??
