We are Tulsa Boxer Rescue!Please visit our website WWW.TULSABOXERRESCUE.NET Some Boxers are abandoned in shelters, found as strays or, for whatever reason, cannot remain in their present home. Our organization is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) group staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers who donate an extraordinary amount of their time and money to help homeless and abandoned boxers find new, permanent homes. Our volunteers accept no financial compensation for their hard work in rescuing Boxer dogs. Every day in the United States, thousands upon thousands of puppies are born because of the uncontrolled breeding of pets. Add to that number the offspring of stray and abandoned companion animals, and the total becomes even more staggering. Every year, between six and eight million dogs and cats enter U.S. shelters; some three to four million of these animals are euthanized because there are not enough homes for them. I'd like to meet:TBR would love to meet new volunteers!Tulsa Boxer Rescue Association. (TBR) is always in need of foster homes for our rescued Boxers. The number of available foster homes limits the number of dogs that we can rescue. Boxers may have to be placed on a waiting list until a foster home is available. Unfortunately, some dogs have a limited amount of time before a shelter or animal control will have to put them down. Clearly, foster homes play one of the most significant roles in TBR’s rescue efforts. Please read the "How to become a Foster Parent to a rescued Boxer" in our Blog above to learn how to foster one of our amazing boxers! |
