We're a devoted group of Ran Fans (we are not Miranda herself) who believes that there's a good home for every pet. Our aim is to help raise money for the Humane Society of East Texas (HSOET - previously the Humane Society of Smith County) and to promote its goals through races and other special events.
Since igniting the country music industry in 2005, Miranda Lambert ("Ran") has been actively associated with the HSOET in Tyler, Texas, near her hometown of Lindale. She spends a substantial amount of her "free time" raising money to help the HSOET , even donating considerable sums of her eBay store proceeds to them. Though the HSOET primarily deals with issues specifically in Smith County, the problem of homeless pets is worldwide and the best way to address a problem this widespread is to think globally and act locally.
