Music:I love all forms and genres of music but can't seem to embrace the twangin' country kind. I have fallen in love with the band Heavens and am really into Brit Pop/Rock (KEANE tops my list). I'm a sucker for a talented male voice carried ballad. I have always enjoyed rap and r&b but on the harder side I love Sick of it All...especially their drummer ;-). I'm married to a musician so our music library has a very eclectic mix of music in it.**My Man On The Big Screen At With Full Force** |

Movies:I adore foreign films (any subject), I especially love French films with Audrey Tautou in them. I love a great comedy but really enjoy bizzare movies. But...I have to say that my favorite type of movie is a love story. I love all kinds.....Tragic, cheesy, cliche`, tear jerkin'..all of them. Anything with Hugh Grant or Mathew McConaughey is a must see. If I had to choose one favorite it would have to be a tie between 'A Lot Like Love'& Nottinghill. I'm in love with being in love so these films really appeal to me. |

Television:My normal faves are: Big Love, Weeds, Queer As Folk & The-L Word (and yes, I am sure I am straight), Top Chef, Grey's Anatomy and of course Family Guy (you know, really intelligent programming, LOL).Now for the embarassing stuff:REALITY ANYTHING! I am really excited for a new Big Brother. Hey, I'm obviously not the only one watching these shows since they are making millions on them...atleast I can admit it! SOAPS: I watch All My Children. Drives my husband crazy but I've been watching it since I was a baby with my Mom. Now my daughter watches it with me every now and then. He won't admit it but Armand knows who the characters are by default, ha ha. I even tease him about looking and sounding like Zach Slater. If you are an AMC fan, you'll know what I'm talking about. |

Books:I read A LOT to my kids. Now that they are 7 & 5 we have graduated from picture books to chapter books. We have really enjoyed the Chronicles of NARNIA. I had no idea the kids (and myself for that matter) would enjoy the works of C.S. Lewis this much! We are also teaching our daughter to read so we are working on early phonics books and she is flying right through them. She is on her way to becoming a bookworm like her brother. Other than the kids reading, I really only have time to read magazines, my current fave is LUCKY magazine. Love it! |
