Tilman Bruno is drumming since childhood and studied Jazz and Pop music at the University of Music, Mannheim and at the "Instituto Superior de Arte" in Havana, Cuba with a DAAD-scholarship.

He traveled on the path of percussion through the continents before living several years as a percussionist in San Francisco/USA, in St. Petersburg/Rus. and in Havana/Cuba.

In the 90s he made it into the german pop charts and MTV rotations with his own groups as percussionist, singer and writer (Tobsucht - zum lachen in den Keller gehn / Polydor)

Now living in Mannheim, Germany, he produces in his own studio, teaches percussions at the University of Music, and most of all has a good standing as a freelancer in the german studio and live music scene.

Tilman Bruno trommelt schon seit klein auf und studierte Jazz und Popularmusik an der Hochschule für Musik in Mannheim und als DAAD Stipendiat am "Instituto Superior de Arte" in Havanna/Kuba.

Er reiste auf den Pfaden der Trommelmusik durch alle Kontinente. Danach lebte und arbeitete er mehrere Jahre als Percussionist und Drummer in San Francisco/USA, in St. Petersburg/Rus. und in Havanna/Kuba.

Mit seinen eigenen Projekten schaffte er es in den 90er Jahren als Percussionist, Sänger und Komponist in die Popcharts, auf MTV und auf die Bravo-Hits. (Tobsucht - zum lachen in den Keller gehn / Polydor).

Heute in Mannheim ansässig, produziert er in seinem eigenen Tonstudio, arbeitet als Dozent für Percussion an der Hochschule für Musik und hat sich vor allem als Freelancer in der deutschen Studio und Livemusikszene einen Namen gemacht.
