| S.O.T. born with the idea to make an ’80 thrash inspiring themself to the main features of music of that decade: speed and aggressive sound with strong riffs. Unfortunately the band born in Bologna, well-known unlucky city for all about rock, metal etc.etc., above all in the last years. Just for this, after the first session that seemed promising, the band enters in an unstable phase…
The ideas that coming out seems to have of upgrade them, but not all are convinced of the group or music. So, our heroes Henry and Jason apply themselves to make not die the hardly under way plan! It begins a long sequence of sessions, sessions and still sessions: singers, guitarist and bass players in order to try alternate themselves to catch up the formation so desired: Voice 2 Guitars Bass Drum The quest continue but after the first efforts our heros meet Maryjane502, a.k.a. Cinzia! Her voice and her passion convinces the 2 thrashers: S.O.T. arrive to reach three line-up elements. After too much time trying to complete the band, the three guys ask themselves: is still there some fuckin’ thrasher that has balls to still play, although the unluck, age and the disappointments of all the concerts and simil-mafia show organizations? When it seemed there was no hope, S.O.T. meet Forlorn a.k.a. Michele! Him and his B.C.Rich bass work perfectly with the band, the songs became powerful and aggressive more than ever! Now the time has come! Lack only the last member, after that S.O.T. will be ready to stand for Thrash Metal and play it loud!!! C’mon motherfuckers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A guitar solo man, and we’ll strike all the lands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- I S.O.T. nascono con l’idea di proporre un thrash ottantiano ispirandosi agli aspetti peculiari della musica di quel decennio: immediatezza, aggressività e musicalità. Purtroppo il gruppo nasce a Bologna, città notoriamente sfigata per quel che riguarda il rock, il metal et similia, soprattutto negli ultimi anni. Proprio per questo, dopo la prima prova che sembrava promettente, il gruppo cominciò già a scricchiolare! E la sfiga si sa... è sempre dietro l’angolo! Le idee che escono sembrano avere del potenziale, ma non tutti sono convinti del gruppo o della musica. Così i nostri eroi Henry e Jason si prodigano sin da subito per non far morire un progetto neonato e già moribondo! Inizia una lunga sequenza di prove, prove e ancora prove: si alternano cantanti, chitarristi e bassisti per cercare di raggiungere la formazione tanto agognata: Voce 2 Chitarre Basso Batteria La ricerca è dura ma dopo i primi sforzi i nostri incrociano la strada con ta-da-da-daaaa!, MaryJane 502, a.k.a. Cinzia! La sua voce e la sua passione convincono i 2 thrashers e i S.O.T. arrivano a quota 3 elementi: Voce Chitarra e Batteria! Dopo (troppi) mesi di sbattimento per provare e completare la line-up il gruppo realizza un minaccioso dubbio: c’è ancora qualche fuckin’ thrasher che ha ancora le palle di suonare, nonostante le sfighe, l’età e le delusioni di tutti i concerti e organizzazioni di spettacolo simil-mafiose? Quando la risposta sembrava inesorabile, le strade dei S.O.T. incrociano Forlorn a.k.a. Michele! Lui e il suo basso B.C.Rich si integrano alla perfezione nella band e i pezzi, oltre ad essere un pugno sui denti, ora sono anche un gancio nello stomaco! I tempi sono maturi, manca solo l’ultimo componente e i S.O.T. saranno pronti per tenere alta la bandiera del Tharsh!!!!!!!!! Fatevi avanti motherfuckers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
