I'm Phil, I play bass with Betsan and Corky's Cats. I am a fretless player, I love playing all genres both on bass and guitar, home for me is on stage as a Cat playing my old Fingerbone. I love to hear from other musicians and really enjoy finding new bands, genre is not an issue for me, music is music and when it's right it's right.Ok, here's my idea. I have put up a track called Jam With Phil 1, it's just a 2 1/2 minute bassline for you all to jam along to and have some fun. What I thought would really be a lot of fun is for you to download it and record yourselves and what you do with it. Then post it up on your players and drop me and your friends a comment to say it's there. Hopefully other players will download your version add to it, post it and message you and there friends, maybe me too. It could get to be a lot of fun and get everyone jamming!So the first bassline is up and ready, it's quite a simple little ditty, I will make them a little more challenging if required or run two in tandem maybe if required. Let's see how we get on with this one.This idea only came to me about 2 hours before loading the track so I plugged the bass in, stuck a mic on The Bryce and played the first bassline that came to mind.
