Hello people. We’re Kovak, we live in Brighton, we love people who dance, spill their pints, snog strangers, love our music and have a kebab on the way home! Our very own FREE Indie Electro Pop night Club Kovak is back on 4th October at Hectors House, Brighton! Bands and DJ’s tbc shortly. Big thanks to the brilliant rude "POW CRUSADER" electro dance goodness from Brightons K’NEX who played a fantastic dark electronic pumping set, DJ Lily Zoot , who kept everyone on their feet with her dirty disco electro rock n’ pop and not forgetting of course our seriously saucy compere Sarah Powell of Brighton’s Juice 107.2 FM’s drivetime show who all joined us last Saturday to make everyone dance and jump about. Our other single "I Love the Dancefloor" is STILL available to buy on iTunes & Napster. If you like your music the old fashioned way then you may be able to get hold of one on 7” vinyl at various independent outlets but your best bet if you want a copy is to call Rough Trade records in London or order online at Rough Trade Records. Also check out the new edit of our video for ’I Love the Dancefloor’ made with the bare hands of iamCollina! We’re just back from a weeks recording completing three final tracks for the album. We returned just in time for our stonking Great Escape gig at The Prince Albert on the 17th May. We spent Winter couped up at the Manors studio (a haunted 15th Century Dairy on The Isle Of Wight) recording Spaceship noises and eating Space pancakes with producer Andy Gray.....Check out Andys new Dance mix of Death In The Disco and remix of Radioheads Nude. The mighty Rodney Bingenheimer of LA super station KROQ has been spinning our beloved discs - this guy is a legend - you should check out his show.
