ParIllegal is the brainchild of singer, songwriter and producer Frosty Fortwenney. Calling on influences from rock and metal, and embracing the history of the Seattle scene, ParIllegal creates a kaleidoscope of sound on guitar, keyboard, drums, and anything else they can get their hands on.

The band has been a staple of the Toronto rock scene for six years, since frontman Frosty brought his signature throat rasping vocals and finger-bleeding guitar riffs from the East Coast in search of new inspiration. He’s been rocking audiences ever since at Yonge and Dundas Square, El Mocambo, and Stone’s Place, to name a few. Mayor David Miller is only the first of the high-profile supporters of ParIllegal’s music, he grabbed a copy of the debut EP in 2004.

Currently in production on their most ambitious effort to date - a full studio record called Suicide Fantasies, ParIllegal is ready to erupt into the spotlight with raw, dark lyrics; driving guitar; and powerful backbeats, complimented by melodic hooks and startling honesty. The songs have been carefully crafted and painstakingly rendered, the results speak for themselves: hair-raising, pure, and electrifying.
