| “Peace Treaty” - - John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” - - Peace treatises have been a part of the development of most civilizations. Even in very barbaric cultures, peace treatises have helped people to get along for the common good of both. They are a healthy part of society. Your spirit needs a peace treaty, and it’s up to you to sign it. Your emotions do, too. It’s time that you made peace with who you are. Only God can truly give you that. You are not a size 6 or 16 for that matter; you are the XXL plus, with the expansion clip. You are not the sculptured, narrow nosed, even eyebrow, pointed cheek model; instead, your nose is large – okay, very large, and your forehead is quite noticeable. But that’s okay, make peace with it. It’s who you are. Some things won’t change and life is too short to keep sitting around fretting over them. Sure, it is wise to be healthy, but being obsessed with being someone you are not is unhealthy. Be content with whom God made you. Don’t be afraid of participating in life just as you are! There is someone who will love you just the way you are. Don’t be troubled by those who say you aren’t good enough. Yes, work on improving the quality of your life – that’s good.
