Keep this in mind while listening to their songs- richly melodic and full of vivid storytelling. Matt’s real gift is his ability to capture those little, fleeting feelings that permeate throughout our everyday lives. There’s a range of emotions, from the haze of a night of intoxication (track 3 “The Floor”), to the feeling of wonder and possibility that spring up from exploring new places (track 2 “The Menu”). The band really shines on “The Snow” (track 4) as their harmonies rise and crash like the froth and waves of their titular vastness.
