| Concede To Glory: We are a four peice metal outfit from stoke-on-trent in staffordshire were passionate about what we do and love perfoming our songs to people who share our passion in music were all about music from the heart and raw performance if you would like to know more about the band then read our bio below or send us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can, we have an array of videos for you to watch both on our myspace page and our youtube account witch you can acces via our myspace page so you can get a better view of what were about live, 2008: Dave and Josh started writing songs in early 2007 and then started to look for other mambers for the band and then auditioned vocalist ''Matt'' who then joined the band, shortly after that ''Jess'' auditioned for the band and shortly after joined also then ''Tom'' came along to play bass we then worked on our set and started to play small shows and venues in our local area and after w few months of playing the smaller venues then went on to play the bigger venues in stoke with more established bands such as romeo must die, the defiled, anatomy of me, razorwire and headrush we were succesfull in our local area playing with the smaller local bands like ourslef and the more established bands we played quite a few show's in 2008 and shared the stage with some great musicians and some great people, december of 2008 saw the departure of drummer ''Jess'' as there was a conflict in musical style and felt that it would be better for both party's to move on this also saw the departure of secondary guitarist ''Josh'' who had recently started a new job and had more commitments with his college course we wish them all the best in future projects this then brought the serach for a drummer and secondary guitarist. 2009: we started 2009 looking for a new drummer and guitarist to join the band, and just after the new year we come accross new drummer ''Chris'' through a few friends we then auditioned him and thought that he was the person we were looking for shortly after his audition chris joined the band and started to work on writing the drums to our set although we are still looking for a secondary guitarist to join the band, we are also going into the studio to record a demo before the summer starts, we are also looking to book a small tour in the summer to get our sound out of our area. This was the bands first gig with their new bass player but you couldn't tell as he slotted in seemlessly (especially given that he'd only finished learning some of the set the night before). They played a set of strong songs which showcased the exceptional twin guitar work of Dave & Josh and had a tight well rehearsed sound throughout their set. If you like screamo / hardcore metal then there surely isn't many better than Concede To Glory.
