Si tratta di un thriller con risvolti soprannaturali ed ha una durata di circa 90 minuti; è stato girato in digitale ed è stato montato dallo stesso regista con un personal computer domestico. Le riprese, della durata di 25 giorni, sono state effettuate all'Isola d'Elba, a Genova e nella tenuta Villa Gropella a Valenza Po. “The Orfeo Method” is an independent full length feature film written by Filippo Sozzi, Sabrina Sappa and Alessandro Gentini. It’s a 90 minute supernatural thriller, shot with a digital camera and edited by the director himself with his personal computer. The Movie was shot in 25 days on the beautiful Elba Island, in Genova and in the lovely Villa Gropella, near Valenza Po. SINOSSI Uno scrittore ed una illustratrice si recano su un’isola del Mediterraneo per soggiornare in una villa di campagna dove, due anni prima, è avvenuto l’omicidio di sette persone. Non è la prima volta che questi artisti, per scrivere i loro romanzi, vanno a vivere in luoghi dove è accaduto qualche crimine efferato. Lo chiamano “Il Metodo Orfeo”, perché ricorda la vicenda dell’antico cantore greco, che scese negli inferi per riportare in vita Euridice, la donna amata. In che situazioni si troveranno coinvolti in questa occasione, dimorando in quei luoghi agghiaccianti, ripercorrendo gli eventi e riprovando le emozioni che permeano quegli ambienti? Questo soggiorno non sarà privo di eventi insoliti e spaventosi, come la presenza di insondabili rumori notturni, gli incontri con una bambina gravemente malata, l'appuntamento con uno bizzarro parapsicologo, le visite ad un vecchio ospedale psichiatrico, la scoperta di siti perduti. Ognuno dei due artisti seguirà la sua pista per arrivare alla verità, che sarà tremenda ed inaspettata e che li vedrà coinvolti in prima persona a rischio della propria vita. Una figura ambigua e pericolosa aiuterà uno di loro a capire, ma forse troppo tardi per salvare altre vite umane. SYNOPSIS A writer and his girlfriend, a painter, go to a Mediterranean island to stay in a country house where, two years ago, seven people were murdered. This is not the first time that these artists, to write their books, go and stay in places where terrible crimes were commited. They call it “The Orfeo Method”, because it recalls the story of the ancient greek musician, who descends into hell to bring back to life his beloved Euridice. What adventures will they face this time, staying in those chilling places and reliving those events? Many strange happenings occur during their stay, like strange nucturnal sounds, the appearence of an ill child, the meeting with a bizarre parapsychologist, the discovering of ancient sites. Each of these two artists will follow their own path to find the truth. However what they discover will be shockingly horrific and will put their lives in danger. An eerie and dangerous persona will help one of them to understand but maybe not in time to save other human lives.
