| I'm originally from Hamburg/Germany, but I live now (since 12 years) in Tijuana/Mexico. So you could write me in German, English and Spanish. I am an independent person. I don't expect you to pick me up, drive me home, pay for me, carry my bags or open the door for me...meaning that I don't need the "princess treatment" (sometimes I appreciate it, but I would never demand it). Maybe in the eyes of some people that doesn't make me very womanlike, but deep down and especialy with the right person I can be very romantic. Overall I think I'm a quite simple and modest person. I don't believe in big and expensive things to express how much somebody means to me. The little things like a call or a "Hello-have a nice day-good luck" - note especialy when least expected mean more than an expensive gift bought in a store. Anyway, I think the best gift you can give somebody is your time and do something together, e.g. going to the movies, having a nice dinner (maybe homecooked) etc. There is just one thing you should NEVER do and that is lie to me ! (And I don't mean the little fib you have to tell to not ruin the surprise party.) I would kick you out of my life faster than you can think, because that is the most disrespectful thing you could do to me. I favor the most devastating truth over the sweetest lie ! | |
