| Internationally known recording artist with radio hits throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Poland. Barry’s self-penned 2005 CD “Daddy Was A Factory Man” produced eight singles in the European Country Music Association charts with “Back When I Was A Cowboy” reaching Belgium’s 1 slot in December, along with being was voted as the 1 Top Country Artist in Germany and Austria during August and September and the 6 Most Played World-Wide Country Artist according to the International Independent Radio Charts. In May 2006, the CD’s title song held the 2 position on Germany’s premiere station, Truck Radio. Barry P. Foley grew up in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and has been serenading crowds around the world with Country and Western favorites as well as his special brand of original music for over 34 years. In his fourth decade of performing a fusion of rockabilly and classic country, his repertoire includes more than 700 songs from 280 different artists. Spanning from Country Music's roots in the 1920’s throughout its golden years of the 50-60’s along with those on the Billboard charts today His vocal and picking sound is entwined with equal parts of his musical heroes, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Tom Russell and Dan McCoy. His balladic writing style in over 100 original songs also reflects their influence and that of a country boy raised on the simple life.
