But there's also an Irish mind at work, what Spike Milligan sagely called "thinking sideways". That allows us to be as deep or zany as we like. Even the "we" is a loose term....there's our core of musicians and producers; people we meet who can sing; and people who we meet and hope to jam with- maybe yourselves, individually or together.Geordie part - the North East of England. A safety lamp worn by miners on their helmets was invented by a man from there, George "Geordie" Stephenson. Miners who wore the Geordie lamps were called '' Geordies". Eventually, everyone else from the North East became Geordies too. ''Geordie' was also the name of Brian Johnson's first band- ( the Geordie lead singer from AC/DC). Then there's the Geordie mind..grounded in the way miners lived and worked. Realistic,hard headed, socially aware.We are based in New Zealand...the people - a little bit Gaelic & Geordie, which is why there's great global potential for the music from here.....
