In today’s music industry an artist needs to be just as sharp with their hustle as they are with their artistry. In the history of Rap music no group has combined these two aspects more successfully than Aman. “They’re on another level” - Freeway “The brothers have their own sound, they don’t follow anyone else.” - Johnny J (Multi-Platinum producer for 2pac, Bone, Tyrese, Jennifer Lopez, more) Aman’s new album tentatively entitled “8.19” will solidify their position as heavyweights in the rap game. It’s filled with fun, bouncy tracks like “Cali Boyz”, street anthems like “Bring It” and the soulful songs fans love from Aman like “Can’t Shed a Tear” and “Somehow, Someway”. Fans are promised some eyebrow raising collaborations but as of yet Aman’s tightlipped about any featured guests on their highly anticipated release. “They got hits” – R. Kelly “I’ve been around the biggest rap stars and these brothers got it” - Napoleon Outlaw In true Bay Area tradition Aman has pushed the independent hustle to new heights. Their music has been featured in major motion pictures “Scary Movie 3” and “Raising Helen” as well as many of TV’s highest rated shows like “CSI Miami”, “The Shield”, “The Bernie Mac Show”, “ER”, “Yo Mama” and many more ( see Blog ). Continuing to surpass all expectations Aman landed a number 1 single for 3 weeks in a row with their song “All Around the World” on BBC Radio in the UK. Following that up with another 2 top 5 songs on the same station Aman continued to tour and promote themselves eventually selling over 40,000 units independently. “The Cali brothers are doing their thing” – Akon “Their music is crazy” – Loon A certain mentality is birthed when brothers see young peers pass away. Growing up amidst drugs, racism, and near death experiences (Amaar was shot in the head just before his 18th birthday) blood brothers Amaar and Siege swore their struggles would mean something. They began documenting their lives in music and with Siege on the keys it didn’t take long for the streets to take notice. Today their Bay Area based label Green Skye Music Group is a testament to their “sky is the limit” attitude, and their arsenal of hits has earned them fans all over the world ( see Blog ).
