| Hi, I am Bogdana Chivas, I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. My parents, being big music fans, brought me up with music constantly playing in the background.It all started in my crib where I used to sing along with my parents and on my own, bugging everybody in the vincity. In school - everyone would hound the bathroom and I’d sing and give a “performance” with the correct reverb. Getting serious about singing and song writing, my very early compositions led me to a contract with Sony Music in Paris, France, were I now live most of the time.After the release of two cd’s it was apparent that my musical orientation and that of the people I was working with was diverging . This led to the breaching of my contract.A few years after having worked on other demo projects with various producers, I decided to take up the guitar and work on my own sound. My inspiration comes from those years with my dad and my tastes: Janis Joplin, ZZTop, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Tammy Wynette, Guns and Roses, and of course guitar players such as Eddie Van Halen , Paul Gilbert, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Winter, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani not to forget contemporary music: U2, The Pretenders, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jewel etc.Today I am focused on writing a new album, most of which is at this time written and pre-produced in demo form.
