| People keep telling me I look a lot like Christopher Reeves, but when I tried this celebrity look alike page--no Christopher. http://www.myheritage.com However, I do see a smashing resemblance to Paul Walker. Heck! We could be twins. :-) As for me, after High School served some time in the Marine Reserves. When I got out I went to college in North Carolina, where I met my wife of many years (Cindy). Got a couple degrees and tried to make a go at a career in North Carolina, but that didn't work. So I put out some resumes in Utah--my wife's home state--got a job with a big computer networking company, Novell. Well it was big back then, it ain't much now. Shortly after we moved out to Utah, and got all settled in, I got layed off. Two months later they realized that they had let too many in-house tech support agents go(that would be me), so they hired me back. I wasn't as excited about the re-hire as I was about the first time I got on, and I could feel the winds of change there, so I quickly moved on to an electronic engineering and design job at a small but steady company. After 4 years at that job, the prospects of getting promoted didn't look good and raises weren't very regular either. Not to mention our family was about to grow from two to three (that was when Emily came along March 1998), so I picked up a tech job at a small but fast growing company with the hope of getting fast promotions. Things were looking good there too, until the stock market bottomed out in the high tech industry around the first of 2001. I found myself out of a job again. I decided that I needed a career change, so I started training in Real Estate. Did loans for a while and then started investing--it's a lot of fun. Even if the market is equally as volitale I still like being able to work out of the house. Shortly after I started this new direction we grew again (Katie came along in December 2001). Very soon after that we got a little surprise package (Christopher was born in February 2003). There were some sad moments in my life and happy ones too. I usually like to play down the sad moments, but apparently the folks in my wife's family were not built to last. Nearly all her grandparents were gone before I met her, almost every aunt and uncle are gone. Her parents are both gone and of the 12 brothers and sisters in her family 9 are left--yes there were 12, but they did live in Utah after all. Signed by a talent agency, Wilhelmina Urban , is the next step to towards reaching my life long dream.
