| The Thunderbolt Chorus represents the collected efforts of Dublin based guitarist,songwriter and vocalist Marty Donnelly and Tyrone based guitarist Des McCrystall. We have been beavering away over the last 18 months on a selection of over 60 songs (six of which are present here in a homebrewed demo form.) The band's style is as eclectic as their influences; everything from Alt Country to Punk,Powerpop to Americana(or Eirecana... as we're Irish!!!), the sound is yours,the listener, to define. We hope you enjoy what you hear and greatly appreciate your feedback..... even the nice, positive stuff....It is our intention to flesh-out these songs into a more fully realised band. Our vision includes for cello,violin, steel guitar, piano/keyboards,percussion and any other instrumentation which lends itself to any given song. We mostly play guitars and are currently seeking the right drummer and bassist to complete the band...if you're up to the task and committed,like our songs,are in the same geographical e.t.c,get in touch....These demo tracks have been recorded using a Boss BR12 to give you an idea of our sound although our plan is to find a studio with the right vibe to lay down an album as soon as possible with a view to gigging beyond that.
