| Slewd are from Sheffield, featuring Craig Stancer, Jeff Goldthorpe and Daniel Walton. Founded initially in 1995 Slewd seperated later that year, with Daniel getting off to University and the rest of the lads staying in Sheffield, and reformed in 2007.Back in 1995 Slewd also included Chris Samwell on Guitars, who passed away in 2005.Having reformed material includes the new demo Stockholm Syndrome, and we are now playing live around the UK and recording material. All material is available to download free here at our myspace site.Craig Stancer plays drums and all percussion, Jeff Goldthorpe plays all guitars and Daniel Walton sings and plays bass. Influences are wide ranging but include LCD Soundsystem, Jesus and Mary Chain and Stone Roses.We have recently played several venues in Sheffield, including The Boardwalk and Casbah and Night and Day Cafe, Manchester as well as appearances on Radio, including KCFM in Hull on the great Rock Show.As well as appearing lives we've also been busy through 2008 recording various material.Leave us a comment and come to see us Live. |

Next gig - 16th April at the Boardwalk in Sheffield.
We've also started to record our first full demo which we're hoping to be available in the next 6 weeks. I'll keep you posted.
