| Sean NoreiksDOB – 22/02/1986An avid adrenaline junky, door host, cocktail bar tender, DJ and aspiring promoter, Sean has had a broad exposure and involvement in the Brisbane music scene from the word go. Heavily influenced by local DJs and producers and inspired by his friends and family, most notably his brother Ryan.Sean has taken a carefully thought out approach to his craft, nothing rushed, nothing underestimated, nothing forgotten, nothing ignored.
His style is as diverse as his influences and is fundamentally based on harmonic mixing and layering.Less than nine short months ago Sean was (although he still is) a trance DJ, it was not until 7am on a Monday morning while messing around on the decks at a Back-to-mine and after deciding to enter the Transmission Next Generation DJ competition that Sean turned his attention to house.His eclectic taste is evident in his sets and his programming includes everything from tech and progressive to minimal and deep jackin house. Sean is soon to reach the end of only his 3rd trimester in the business and with a finalists’ position in the Central Station DJ Competition in Brisbane and recently having won Transmission’s Next Generation competition his momentum, coupled with his competitive and fun loving attitude is becoming hot gossip amongst promoters and fellow DJs.Sean is one half of The White Cartel who have recently made their break into the Brisbane scene with a number of cameo appearances around Brisbane and their first residency at one of Brisbane’s premier venues.Bio By Ben HamleyResidencies
