| Omar was born in Bayamon, PR. He began to take piano lessons at Libre de Musica’s School. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor Degree in Physics Applied to Electronics and other major in Music. He was member of the Philharmonics Choral of San Juan performing on Symphonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico seasons and Festival Casals. Also, he was member of the Opera Choir in many productions including “Gala de 30 años con Plácido Domingo”. Omar has performed with several singers such as Dr. Ron Kenoly, Don Moen, Darlene Zschech and Doris Machin among others. He has also been Music Director of many music events and international tours like: “African Tour” with Dr. Ron Kenoly (Benin, Nigeria, Ghana), “Porque Te Amo Tour” with Luis Santiago (Central and South America), and “Live in Brazil: The Pianoforte Collection Tour” with international pianist Adlan Cruz.
Omar nació en Bayamón, PR. Comenzó sus estudios de piano en la Escuela Libre de Música. Posee un Bachillerato en Física Aplicada a la Electrónica y otra concentración en Música de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. Fue merecedor de la medalla Felipe Gutiérrez Espinosa y el premio Familia Israel Rodríguez otorgado por ser el estudiante más destacado del Departamento de Música. Fue miembro de la Coral Filarmónica de San Juan presentándose en temporadas de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico y el Festival Casals. También ha formado parte del coro de ópera de varias producciones donde destaca la “Gala de 30 años con Plácido Domingo”. En 1995 fue parte de los músicos que integraron la Cruzada del Dr. Billy Graham. Se ha destacado como compositor, arreglista y pianista. Ha participado con diversos cantantes como el Dr. Ron Kenoly, Don Moen, Darlene Zschech y Doris Machin entre otros. Ha sido director musical en distintos proyectos y giras internacionales, entre ellas: “African Tour” con el Dr. Ron Kenoly (Benin, Nigeria, Ghana), “Porque Te Amo Tour” con Luis Santiago (Centro y Sur América), y “Live in Brazil: The Pianoforte Collection Tour” con el pianista internacional Adlan Cruz.
