Jukebox Johnny: Featuring the Honey Beans A seven piece group that covers a wide variety of music including Rock n' Roll, Swing, Pop, Country, and Dance music. Jukebox Johnny will provide what you need, when you need it! 2009 UPDATE:Jukebox Johnny would like to thank all of our 2008 patrons and fans. We are currently booking for 2009 and the schedule is really filling up fast! Give us a call or drop us an email if you would like to discuss entertainment for your special upcoming event. We have several packages available to fit your budget and entertainment needs.Also, Jukebox Johnny is proud to announce that they are teaming up with East Tennessee’s own TR AUDIO. TR is a well known sound engineering company who has handled sound for the Scottish Heritage Festival, Museum of Appalachia and sound engineering for Ricky SKaggs and the Grascals. TR AUDIO has the experience! Needless to say we are very excited about adding TR AUDIO into the Jukebox Johnny mix and they look forward to working with you and your event! |

Music:Member Since: 22/05/2007Band Members: Band leader/Drummer Ben "Jammer" Hamlin is known in the Knoxville area as the former host to the Sassy Ann’s weekly blues jam. Along with heading up Jukebox Johnny, Ben also has several other projects that keep him very busy in the area blues clubs. Roller Dogs and Tri County Trio are a couple of bands to watch out for! Guitarist/Vocalist John JD Brown, also a Knoxville native, has spent the past few years touring the south eastern states with his show band The Spontanes, featuring Harley Hogg and the Rockers (which also doubles as the backing band for Percy Sledge performing shows up and down the east coast).The "Honey Beans" song list includes everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Linda Ronstadt and Alisha Keys. These ladies, for the past several years, have been doing solo and back up vocals for the likes of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Percy Sledge, The Spontanes featuring Harley Hogg and the Rockers, and working locally as JB & the Honey Beans. Always dressed to impress Ashley & Honey add a dimension that no other group in this area has. The horn section is under the direction of the great Jack Fanarre. Jack’s life long dedication to music is seen in his work to this day. An educator and Knoxville, Tennessee's top woodwind repairman, Jack also heads up his own jazz quartet playing club dates all over east Tennessee.
