| With many years of band experience in the bag, J. Palmfield started a few years ago on a simultaneous ego-trip with own material. This has, so far, resulted in 2 CDs with a variety of songs with lyrics in both danish and english language.The lyrics to the songs are certainly worth reading. They are not always easy to completely figure out, and the true meaning of the lyrics is often burried under the surface of a more direct understanding of the text.One of the better kicks this world can offer is being on a stage in front of a crowd that goes absolutely nuts to the music you play. To fulfill this basic human need, J. Palmfield also plays guitar and is the lead singer of a 'real' band, which name is of course not mentioned here ;-)Vocal on the song ”Drive me home” is performed by the very beautiful and talented Julie Wieland. Julie, born in 1986, is studying music with vocal as major, but is at the same time an excellent player of piano, tenor sax and transverse flute. Next to making live performances and studio recordings, she also writes her own music and lyrics. It has been a privilege to work with Julie for the vocals on this song.Something I wrote, worth thinking about:
"In the mirror of the future, we look back on the past and view with envy the things we did not accomplish......
But the past is not yet over, and we can still see the future in an admirable, bright light.
