Peter Yakel & Flood Road hail from upstate New York, playing an original recipe of “Acoustic FolkGrass” that combines careful measures of Americana, Bluegrass and Folk, seasoned with a pinch of Rock-n-Roll. Their rootsy song mix creates a blend of memorable toe-tappers and eye-weepin’ ballads that are as varied and unpredictable as the northeast seasons. The quartet features Jon “Banjovius” Belcher on banjo, Tom “The Lion” King on mandolin and harmonica, Pete “The Treat” Murphy on bass, and J. Peter Yakel on acoustic guitar and vocals.
Since forming in 2006, the band has played locally and regionally to the enjoyment of their listening audiences. As well, the music of J.
