About Me |
|
| Well, This is what I look like when I'm at work. My main workhorse for playing now? I use a white Fender Electric Violin and it does the job beautifully.
I grew up in West Cornwall and was Classically trained on the violin until I left school at 17 to go to University in London. Discovered The Marquee Club in Wardour Street. Discovered The Blues, and discovered the way I had to play. For the album "Meet The Beet" I was lucky (and rich - these guys are PROS) enough to secure the services of Mr Robin Bibi (electric Guitars and vocals), Mt jim Riley (Fender Bass), Mr Hans Ferrao (Drums, Percussion and BV's) and Mr Joachim Karl Greve (Drums)
Doing a wonderful job in his own Roundel Studios Kent was Mr Roger Cotton who supplied me with Hammond C3 and Production help. I also had the invaluable writing and vocal talents of my very good friend Mark Handley to help me as well.
But there's more . . . I needed some acoustic songs to lighten the aural palate so called upon the wonderful Mr Sweet Willie Johnson (AKA Major Wiley) on acoustic guitar and vocals, Champagne Charlie (AKA Danny Poultney) on finger pickin' and vocals and Mr Steve "Me And The Devil" Mole on dobro and vocals. Mr Chris Grey recorded it for me at his Troubador Studios in Falmouth Cornwall
