In spite of the great collapse of the record industry Amped gave artists an opportunity to reach the market. Rather than treat artists as nothing more than a product Amped was founded with the idea to involve them in every aspect of their project. In August of 2000 Amped/Gig released Nebula 9's "Moodhop vol 1: Music To Have Sex To" and so began our epic adventure. In 2002 in addition to releasing great music Amped turned its attention to artist management and booking. During this period Amped aided Nicole 11:11, Gift, and Astrom to get their music released on DJ Hardware's Pure Music Recordings label. Amped also, brought DJ Samer's Pangea label into Hardware's ever growing label group. In 2004 Amped negotiated a deal with Moonshine Music to sign the legendary DJ Hardware. Amped has handled booking duties for one off dates and tours by artists such as DJ Hardware, Larry Tee, DJ X-Dream, Austin Leeds, Kelly D and countless others. In 2007 Amped is set to venture into the rock and industrial genres teaming up with long time friend Diggie Diamond of Foreskin 500 fame. In addition, Amped eagerly anticipates the return of former Marilyn Manson bassist, the infamous Gidget Gein. Stay tuned for more details as they become available. |
