Waves is a non-profit organization started in 2007 by San Diego locals. Through the realm of action sports, our goal is to raise awareness of issues that go under reported in the American media. The focus of our first event series is to raise awareness of the conditions in Darfur, Sudan. Since we have started this campaign, we have had some amazing people jump on board with us: Skinnie Entertainment magazine, The Wave House, Never Satisfied Productions, Blanket-a-Human, Planet X tv , Our event will feature performances by: Buckfast Superbee, Stranger, Roots Covenant, A.I., Scarlet Symphony, DJ 1979, Trevor Young, Junior the Disco Punk, Dj Kopcho and a live art show by Zoke. The Wave House event had some of the best energy and vibes than we have experienced for some time going out in San Diego. We are looking forward to bringing more events to you just like that. Doctors without Borders is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from health care in more than 70 countries.
