I just recently graduated from nursing school and got a job in the Portland area, so here I am. I love the city and all it has to offer, and I love working as a nurse. I like to think of myself as a fun person who is easy to be around and who can be goofy at times. I have a passion for music of many genres and I love being introduced to new music by other people. A new group that I've started listening to recently is The National and they are quickly becoming my favorite group because their music is the most amazing thing I've ever heard. If you don't know who they are and you're reading this, you should go listen to some of their stuff. Photography is another passion of mine. I've been mainly interested in nature photography for a long time, but recently I've become more interested in photographing people because they have a tendancy to be more interesting. Just a few months ago I bought a Nikon F100 camera after using my friend's for a bit and I'm very much in love with it. I couldn't ask for a better camera right now, but I plan to get a nice Nikon digital when I graduate so I won't have to spend the money to get the film developed. =P I am also very interested in computers and constantly amazed at what I am able to do with them. I'm not a programmer and there are still a lot of things that I don't know about computers, but I like to learn and I like to figure things out on my own, so I'm always finding new things to do with my computer.
